This La Puente electrician was great at the work and invisible online. A brand-new website, a half-finished profile and zero traffic. Here’s how I built their local presence from nothing in six months, and the data that shows it worked.
Most of my campaigns start with a profile that exists but underperforms. This one started with almost nothing. Homeowners searching “electrician near me” or “emergency electrician” saw competitors with years of reviews and posts, and never saw this business at all.
No content, no authority and nothing that told Google this was a trusted local electrician.
No service list, no posts, no photos of real jobs, and just two calls in the first month.
Panel upgrades, EV chargers and emergency repairs had nowhere to rank, and neither did nearby towns.
No analytics, no Search Console and no call tracking, so there was no way to know what was working.
Local electricians with years of reviews and regular posting were taking nearly every search.

With a new business, trust has to come before rankings. So I built the foundation first, then the reputation, then the momentum.
Rebuilt the Google Business Profile: categories, every service, description, real job photos, messaging and call tracking
Matched the name, address and phone on 40+ directories, including Yelp, Bing Places, BBB, HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack
Created pages for emergency repairs, panel upgrades, wiring and EV chargers, plus nearby city pages
Added LocalBusiness, Service and review schema, fixed site speed and set up analytics, Search Console and call tracking
Built 60+ citations on electrician-specific and local directories
Earned local mentions through partners, community groups and sponsorships
Set up review requests by follow-up message, SMS and QR code
Posted weekly: job photos, safety tips, maintenance advice and seasonal alerts
Published guides like “why breakers trip” and “signs you need a panel upgrade”
Replied to every review and tracked each keyword on a GeoGrid every month
| BUSINESS PROFILE | MONTH 1 | MONTH 6 | 6-MONTH TOTAL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phone calls | 2 | 28 | 101 |

Across the campaign the site earned 318 clicks and 22.8K impressions, all from a domain that had no search history at the start.
Each scan covers 95 points across a five-mile radius. Left is where we started, right is month six. Green means top positions.

For electricians, I focus on the Google Business Profile, service pages for each job type, city pages for the service area, schema, citations on trade directories, local links, reviews and helpful content that answers homeowner questions.
Yes. This client started with a new website, a new profile and zero traffic. Within six months the profile was bringing in 28 calls a month and every tracked search had moved up.
New businesses usually see the first calls within two to three months. Reaching the top three in a crowded area takes longer, which is why I track every keyword on a map grid each month.
Yes. Every figure comes from Google Search Console, Google Business Profile and Local Dominator GeoGrid reports from the live campaign. I’ve withheld the business name.
Yes. I deliver electrician SEO fully white-label, under your brand and processes, with no client contact. How I work with agencies →
